Our two-day IN FOCUS seminar in October 2020, we were able to experience in your house "Zum Sonnenwirt" as a successful event with our seminar participants. Thanks to your rooms with a feel-good atmosphere and your extremely friendly and courteous Sonnenwirt team. Especially the delicious food, in the evening in the fireplace room with a cozy, burning fire. We say thank you!

Good kitchen, attractive rooms. and nice hosts. What more do you need. Good middle-class at fair prices. Highly Recommended!

I ordered 2 schnitzel with french fries, mushroom cream sauce, a side salad and a pumpkin soup to take away. The food is absolutely outstanding. Very nicely presented in the containers. The sauce separately and the dressing separately for the salad. The portion is very rich. The schnitzel is an absolute dream as is the pumpkin soup. The salad is also crisp and fresh

Pleasant rooms with a very good restaurant / beer garden. Just try. You can't go wrong with that.

The food was delicious and the service very friendly. There is a wide range of different dishes and even several vegetarian options. The portions are okay for the price.

'Home far from home'. What Borgny and Michael Schieber have created here is great. A special, beautiful place where every (!) Detail is right. A small world of its own, in the middle of the old town. Family-run with a great team, especially Saskia. I rarely travel alone - but at the Sonnenwirt I have extended it by two nights. Moments in the garden, the upscale 'beer garden' style - perfect ... very good food, with nice ideas ... The restaurant - very charming, in the chalet style, or rather elegant in the adjoining part. PERFECT. The local mountain 'Ipf' is not far for digestion and is visible from some very modern (better: timeless) rooms (in earth tones, open shower etc, great!). I'm just thrilled and wanted to stay on the descent yesterday. Hospitality par excellence. THANK YOU.

Hello Team Sonnenwirt Bopfingen Many thanks to the whole team for the wonderful evening Great ambience and super delicious food! Also that we thought of our child first when eating was great !! (no longer a matter of course today) The service is always very attentive, even when there is a lot going on and when things get hot, everyone helps (including the boss) An extra thank you for the "present" to the birthday child! In summary, an all-round great evening We have no other choice, we become repeat offenders

Very good food and great service

It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend for us. We were greeted very friendly. The room was great. Leather floor and an extravagant bathroom. 😉 We hadn't made reservations for the evening, so we'd go to the witch's house for a short time, an extra table and 2 chairs were set up so that we could have a great meal in this sensational inner courtyard. All very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was ordered, on the first morning we were allowed to choose at the counter and it was brought to us. The second morning we got a compiled record. Then again with the coffee in this beautiful courtyard and enjoyed the freshness. Of course, everything with a face mask and distance. So all in all it was a wonderful weekend that we would love to repeat. Then we also register for dinner. P. S. The food we delivered to our family celebration on the second evening was delicious and very well prepared.

After a strenuous week, we were ready to relax and drove to Bopfingen on the spur of the moment. Although we didn't have high hopes of getting a table on a 30 degree summer Saturday evening. In fact, all tables were occupied, but a small table was placed in the nicest corner of the beer garden for us and we could enjoy the delicious food and the great service! Thank you, dear Sonnenwirt team 😀

We had a super nice civil wedding. In the afternoon we enjoyed our coffee and cake in the beautifully decorated beer garden. In the evening we celebrated in the fireplace lounge. It was decorated with great attention to detail. The food was very nicely presented and delicious. We would like to thank the entire team for an unforgettable day. Above all, we would like to thank Ms. Schieber, who made this great day possible for us.

Nice ambience, good dishes that are nicely made, only two points of criticism: The wheat beer glass was still lukewarm from the dishwasher ... Even the best content doesn't help. the waiter made us wait 30 minutes after we asked to pay.

Traditional German "Gasthaus" and hotel, runned by an extraordinary friendly and hospital family. The rooms are comfortable, clean and arranged elegant. Food is tasty. Separate meals for vegetarians and vegans are available. The whole atmosphere is positive and relaxing. Special wishes (if appropriate) are fullfiled directly and with great implicitness.

Very cozy hotel with a great beer garden right in the center. Unfortunately only for business and not everything can explore. I'll be back! Tip: Room number 11 was equipped with a waterbed. You do not often experience something like that. Really great!!!

Good hotel and restaurant. Room with good forniture, rest room small bue Clean and new. I had problem with the room temperature, solved only after 3 Claim.
